Many of us come to CrossFit looking to make a life change, and coach Erin was no different.  Active her entire life from high school sports to kickboxing to triathlons; Erin found her true passion after attending her first CrossFit class in December of 2013.  Since that day, obsession might be a better description.  She has stood on the podium multiple times at the Best of the West CrossFit Competitions, she’s been an “elite” qualifier in the Kill Cliff Cascade Classic, and is ranked in the top 100 athletes in the CrossFit West Region.

Outside of CrossFit, Erin is a teacher/mother/wife/personal chauffeur.  She has two kids who actively play sports and can usually be found in the back of the gym squeezing in an extra workout in between shuttling kids to and from practice and games.  She is the crazy coach willing to come in every morning at 5:30 AM with a smile on her face ready to train hard, yell loudly, and encourage every athlete while busting out her famous dance moves to some old school gangster rap!!!

 

 

Ben - main coach

Raised in central Oregon, and lived in the state most of my life.  I enjoy small town living and keeping m values and family most sacred to my heart.  After a year attending Cascade College running track in Portland I decided school wasn't or me and joined the Army.  I have been in the Army for 16+ years, and recently retired.  4 of which with the 82nd Airborne and now currently with the Oregon National Guard.

 

Most of my time outside of work is spent with my amazing wife and kiddos.  Camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting are a couple of things we we enjoy along with basically any other outdoor activity.

 

I strive to push each client to the max potential and attain realistic goals in a realistic-time frame. I have a no nonsense approach to training and have complete joy in watching a client reach goals.

Bene  7 and 8am coach/owner

CrossFit Level 2 Trainer

French mama of four who didn't find her athletic/competitive side until starting CrossFit back in 2013. She believes that growth happens outside your comfort zone and tries to be reminded of that frequently.

When not at the box, or at her day job at her husband's chiropractic clinic, you can find Bene trail running, mat side cheering her wrestlers, or spending time with her family on their farm.

Bottom line: CrossFit simply changed her life.  It improved her quality of life, and she wants to share that.

 

Dean - equipment specialist

Started CrossFit January 2013, working out 5 days a week. Enjoys helping out at the gym.

In his spare time, Dean enjoys the outdoors. He has been married for 33 years to his wonderful wife Kathy. Dean has 2 adults boys, 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters.

Steve - Barbell Club coach

 

Steve is our resident “coach who’s not a coach”.  He discovered CrossFit in December of 2014 and quickly found a true passion in weightlifting.  He earned his USAW certification “just for fun”, and can usually be found in the back of the gym spending quality time with a heavy barbell. 

 

For someone who “wasn’t a coach”, athletes tended to gravitate towards his no-nonsense approach to coaching and training…..suck it up, put in the work, put in the sweat, listen to your coach, and you will get better, faster, and stronger.  Fast forward a few years and Steve has established the barbell club, sharing the coaching and programming with his wife, Erin.

 

 

 
 

        Code of Conduct

  • Leave your ego at the door. It's ok to start slow and with light weights.

  • If you don't know somebody, introduce yourself. We're a family.

  • Arrive early, stay late, and encourage others. We are all in this fitness journey together.

  • Work on your weaknesses.

  • If you are unsure about something, ask.

  • Don't cheat. The only one who loses is you.

  • No kids on the mats during class. This is for safety of your children and our members.

  • Respect the equipment (i.e. Don't drop unloaded bars, or 10# plates)

  • Clean up and put away equipment after class.

  • Don't quit, EVER!!! Scale, reduce weight, take a break, but FINISH!

  • Have FUN.
