Eagle Cap CrossFit
“Eagle Cap CrossFit is more than a gym, we are a family that support and encourage each other to reach our best"
Erin - head trainer
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
Working Against Gravity Nutrition coach
Many of us come to CrossFit looking to make a life change, and coach Erin was no different. Active her entire life from high school sports to kickboxing to triathlons; Erin found her true passion after attending her first CrossFit class in December of 2013. Since that day, obsession might be a better description. She has stood on the podium multiple times at the Best of the West CrossFit Competitions, she’s been an “elite” qualifier in the Kill Cliff Cascade Classic, and is ranked in the top 100 athletes in the CrossFit West Region.
Outside of CrossFit, Erin is a teacher/mother/wife/personal chauffeur. She has two kids who actively play sports and can usually be found in the back of the gym squeezing in an extra workout in between shuttling kids to and from practice and games. She is the crazy coach willing to come in every morning at 5:30 AM with a smile on her face ready to train hard, yell loudly, and encourage every athlete while busting out her famous dance moves to some old school gangster rap!!!
AT - main coach
CrossFit Level I Trainer
A sponge for knowledge, actively playing all sports, soccer, football, basketball, baseball growing up. Love to help others succeed.
Studied sports medicine, CrossFit certified.
Involved in CrossFit for 4 years and likes to compete as well.
Constantly learning, striving to be the best coach I can.
Bene 8:15am coach/owner
CrossFit Level I Trainer
French mama of four who didn't find her athletic/competitive side until starting CrossFit back in 2013. She believes that growth happens outside your comfort zone and tries to be reminded of that frequently.
When not at the box, or at her day job at her husband's chiropractic clinic, you can find Bene trail running, mat side cheering her wrestlers, or spending time with her family on their farm.
Bottom line: CrossFit simply changed her life. It improved her quality of life, and she wants to share that.
Paul - CrossFit Level I Trainer
Paul is 34 years old and has been crossfitting for 3 years. He loves the competitiveness of the workouts while getting a great workout. Paul played high school football and a variety of track events. Paul currently owns an insurance business in La Grande, when he isn’t working or working out he is either surfing/wakeboarding on the snake river or at his family cabin in Izee Oregon hunting

He is married to the wonderful Lena, and they have 3 children
CrossFit Level I Trainer / Professional badASS/Strongman competitor
Brenda has always enjoyed sports and the competitive challenge that comes with being an athlete so when she got introduced to CrossFit 4 years ago, she instantly became hooked. On top of doing CrossFit, she enjoys throwing in some strongman and powerlifting as well. She believes that there is nothing more empowering than feeling strong! Her theory is that physical strength leads to mental strength, which in turn makes the day to day that much better. She also believes that everyone has a little bit of super hero in them, it’s just a matter of bringing it out!
When she’s not in the gym, or at her regular job selling insurance you can usually find her in the mountains, casting a line on the river, or spending time with her friends and family.
Steve - Barbell Club coach
Steve is our resident “coach who’s not a coach”. He discovered CrossFit in December of 2014 and quickly found a true passion in weightlifting. He earned his USAW certification “just for fun”, and can usually be found in the back of the gym spending quality time with a heavy barbell.
For someone who “wasn’t a coach”, athletes tended to gravitate towards his no-nonsense approach to coaching and training…..suck it up, put in the work, put in the sweat, listen to your coach, and you will get better, faster, and stronger. Fast forward a few years and Steve has established the barbell club, sharing the coaching and programming with his wife, Erin.
